Bringing Home into the Workplace

The team at Abramson Teiger Architects took cues from residential strategy in order to articulate Microsoft’s ideal of a space that is humanizing, connected, and intelligent. Organized into “neighborhoods,” the workspace allows for individual and team control of the environment. The result is uniquely inspiring spaces that holistically represent Microsoft.

The variety of settings facilitate easy shifts from individual work time to group collaboration.

Tactile materials and comfortable furniture promote a sense of ease in environments that are as relaxed as they are functional.

The color palette is inspired by the location’s proximity to the ocean on one side, and mountains on the other. Integrating elements of the local culture and natural surroundings creates a subtle yet distinct sense of place.
