A Bright and Airy Floral Showroom

Floral Art celebrates the beauty of blooms through floral arrangements, event planning, design classes and home furnishings.  With their warehouse design studio in Culver City, they were looking to open their first retail store nearby.  They landed at PLATFORM, a mixed-use development in the Hayden Tract neighborhood of Culver City.  The complex was also designed by Abramson Teiger Architects.

The ATA design team wanted to create a clean and vibrant space that allowed the colorful floral work to take focus.  Built-ins line two sides of the store and small display cutouts sit behind the front desk.  A statement green wall is interchangeable for the retailer to showcase their creations.  The small square footage is able to feel voluminous with high ceilings and a user-friendly flow.  Light colored woods and the use of translucent materials further assists in the airy vibe.
