An Upscale Bowling Environment
AMF approached Abramson Teiger Architects to design their Pasadena bowling center under their new branding direction, AMF 300. This location served as a flagship for the refreshed brand identity.
The existing building was a bowling center built in the 1950s. The ATA design team abandoned motifs of traditional league bowling in favor of an upscale entertainment environment. The new structure features a private 8 lane club with improved amenities. The ceiling height was increased from 8 feet to 12 feet to open up the space and to create an emphasized main entry.
Bright and glossy finishes create a high-end atmosphere that attracts bowling enthusiasts and casual hobbyists alike. With a full bar and dining options, the space caters to entertainment needs in addition to the recreational attraction.
